About Hearts by Faith

Founded by Catrena King in 2020, Hearts By Faith International is dedicated to creating an uplifting environment where the hearts of women are strengthened and spiritually energized in Christ's love. Our mission is deeply rooted in Ephesians 3:16-19, where we strive to help women experience the fullness of God's presence and love in their lives, equipping them to do the work of the ministry of Christ.

What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is profitable for (2 Timothy 3:16-17):

God the Father

We believe in God the Father, who is the almighty Creator of heaven and earth. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, and eternally sovereign. He loves us with an everlasting love and desires a personal relationship with each of us (Genesis 1:1; Ephesians 4:6; John 3:16).

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (Yeshua Hamashiach), His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory (John 1:1-4; Acts 1:11; Romans 5:8-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to believers for the benefit of the church (people) and to help us fulfill the Great Commission (John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we are saved and are called children of God. (Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Titus 3:5).

The Church

We believe that The Church is the body of Christ, composed of all who are born again, with Jesus Christ as the Head (Ephesians 1:22-23; 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14).

Christian Living

We believe that Christians are called to live a holy life, set apart for God’s purposes. This includes loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40; Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 5:16-25).

The Great Commission

We believe in the Great Commission, which calls believers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Christ has commanded (Matthew 28:18-20).

The Second Coming

We believe in the personal, bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ to earth in power and glory to judge the living and the dead and to consummate His eternal kingdom (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-16).

The Power of Prayer

We believe that prayer is a way of communicating with The Father and seeking guidance, support, and strength. Prayer can be a powerful tool for coping with stress, anxiety, and difficult situations. We pray to The Father in the name of His Son, Jesus. We also believe that we are called to pray for each other. (Matthew 6:9-10, John 14:13-14, John 15:16, James 5:16)
